Setting alarms is necessary, for quality assurance and taking proactive measures. To activate the alarm for the features (temperature, humidity, battery, and geofence) you wish to receive notifications on, simply follow the steps below:
STEP 1: Log in to your dashboard.
STEP 2: Go to the ‘Alarms’ feature on the left-side menubar of your dashboard page.
Step 2: On the Alarms page, Click on the Add Alarm option at the top-right corner of the page.
STEP 3: To customize alarm settings, you are required to fill in some information such as Title of Alarm; Type of alarm; from the list of devices added to your account, select the Device(s) to be customized for the alarm; the interval at which you would like to be notified; and the users to be notified on these excursions, from the list of users in your account.
Click on Add Alarm to save the alarm settings.
A practical example is if your type of Alarm is Temperature and the temperature value is 2-8 degrees Celsius which means the minimum of 2 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 8 degrees Celsius. To fix an alarm for excursions above the required temperature for such a device, set a temperature alarm with a value of 8 degrees Celsius. All users added to the alarm customization will be notified when there is an excursion in the readings, greater than 8 degrees Celsius.
